Magnus the Magpie

Inspired by a pair of local magpies that visit my garden while my son and I are outside. They frequently sing to us with their sweet little warbles, and it fills my heart with so much joy. We have grown very fond of these two who seem to have adopted us as well. The colours of the background are generated from the fluorescent wattle blossoms. I love the stark contrast and happy energy of the bold, bright greens and yellows against the sleek, black feathers.
